For the beads and, pendant of this piece, I have used Gold Sheen Obsidian, I have contrasted this with the addition of small “Golden” electroplated hematite beads, for grounding and added vitality, interspersed with tiny black glass beads.  Black and Gold, at match made in heaven.

The addition of Electroplated Golden Hematite beads has significance.  Hematite is used mainly for grounding and for balancing energies, so it will ground and balance all the other energies present in the piece, it is also renowned for its protective qualities, shielding the aura from negative influences and promoting security. Hematite is grounding while the colour of Gold brings many beautiful spiritual benefits.  
Gold, both as a metal and as the colour, holds profound spiritual significance as a symbol of divinity, immortality, and enlightenment, often representing the sun’s life-giving energy and prosperity.  It signifies purity, sacredness, and high consciousness, frequently used in religious artefacts to connect the human soul to the divine. 
Golden Obsidian can be cleansed in sunlight or moonlight to recharge. Store separately to prevent damage from harder gemstones. 
Holding crystals or placing them on your body is thought to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual healing. Crystals supposedly do this by positively interacting with your body's energy field, or chakras, channelizing your energy levels, thereby healing your body from the inside.
