Druzy also spelled druse or drusy, is a geological formation characterized by a coating of tiny, sparkling crystals on a rock's surface. These crystals form when mineral-rich fluids evaporate, leaving behind a glittering layer of crystals, often resembling sugar or snow. Often associated with quartz, such a Amethyst, they are rare and very beautiful.  I have used a faux Druzy cabochon here to replicate that special quality in nature.  Set in a lovely brass decorative band for something different and unique.
