ISIS - The ancient Egyptian Goddess of magic, motherhood, and protection, considered the divine mother of the pharaoh and, as such, was one of the most powerful and widely worshipped Goddesses in ancient Egypt. ISIS is often depicted dressed in white and gold and so this seemed the most obvious colours to use for this powerfully beautiful 108 Bead Mala. Here I have used pearlescent cream glass pearls, which bring a lovely calming, soft, but vibrant energy, interspersed with elements of Gold. Gold coloured glass pearls, gold glass and gold tone metal beads and a couple of gold electroplated hematite beads. Gold symbolizes purity, divinity, permanence, and prosperity, often associated with the sun, immortality, and enlightenment. Spiritually, the colour cream represents purity, peace, and comfort, often evoking a sense of high vibration, calmness, and spiritual illumination. It is linked to warmth, renewal, and subtle luxury, suggesting a connection to higher consciousness and divine guidance. While Hematite is used mainly for grounding and for balancing energies, which is good to ground and balance all the other energies present in the piece, it is also renowned for its protective qualities, shielding the aura from negative influences and promoting security.  I have finished the Necklace with a lovely gold tone metal motif of the scarab beetle, which is symbolic of the eternal cycle of life: birth life death and resurrection.
Isis represents a spiritual embodiment of healing, magic, motherhood, and resurrection, and is a symbol of life, wisdom, and resilience She is seen as a teacher of divine universal energy and an emblem of unconditional love and maternal care. Her spiritual meaning is rooted in her role as a wife who resurrected her husband Osiris, mother who protected her son Horus, and a powerful healer and protector for both pharaohs and ordinary people.  Her worship grew significantly over time, and her cult spread across the Greco-Roman world. 
This handmade 108 bead Affirmation Mala is not only a very desirable thing of great beauty, but also spiritual tool.  Holding crystals or placing them on your body is thought to promote physical, emotional and spiritual healing.
