In this design I have incorporated several rose motifs since throughout history, the rose has been associated Mother Mary, as well as Mary Magdalene, who embodied wisdom, strength, and compassion.
The rose has long been revered as a symbol of the sacred feminine. The “Way of the Rose", in connection with Mary Magdalene, refers to a spiritual path with its emphasis on the divine feminine.
The Rosary is an ancient devotional item, originally made as flower garlands, representing a connection between the spiritual and the earth, serving as a tool for mindfulness and spiritual balance. Rosaries have been made from seeds, wood and stones, today we use beads. Spirit of Knockmany Rosaries are made following a traditional design with my unique interpretation. Crafted to embody deep spirituality and to reflect sacredness, each element I choose, from colours, materials, natural crystals and symbolic charms, are chosen to create a divine atmosphere prompting you to use them often. Please note that I have not made them to be worn as a necklace, but rather to be held during prayer, meditation and contemplation.
This is a special creation, very delicate, very high vibrational. The main body of the Rosary is composed of beads in Lilac glass and Cherry blossom Jasper, interspersed with lilac silver lined glass beads and using beautiful rose beads at those important junctures along the design. For the centre piece of this Rosary, I have chosen a beautiful Rose carved out of pure Rose Quartz, along with a smaller one at the intersection point.
Rose Quartz, the crystal of unconditional love and infinite peace, is said to purify the heart at all levels and is believed to bring deep inner healing and self-love, which in turn draws loving relationships toward you. Rose Quartz brings the Light! While Cherry Blossom Jasper symbolizes emotional healing, balance and personal growth, associated with nurturing energy, promoting inner peace and transformation.
Anything that can be said of purple and violet is intensified here in the lilac, as we add more light the colour rises in vibration and frequency. Lilac is related to feelings of spiritual awakening yet bringing with it a sense of innocence, tranquillity, and more, serenity. It evokes a deep feeling of inner peace. Lilac has long been connected to the mystique surrounding femininity. This high vibe colour signifies inner reflection and ultimately, transformation. All is combined here in one high vibrational Rosary. Just Wonderful!
Please note that I have not made this Rosary to be worn as a necklace, but rather to be held during prayer, meditation and contemplation. Included with the Rosary beads is a pouch for safe keeping and a printout of my thoughts and feelings on the piece, the elements chosen etc. However, do remember, this is my interpretation
