The rose has long been revered as a symbol of the sacred feminine. The “Way of the Rose", in connection with Mary Magdalene, refers to a spiritual path emphasizing the divine feminine, particularly through the symbolism of the rose and its association with Mary Magdalene. The delicate petals, vibrant colours, and sweet fragrance of the Rose reflect its beauty, love, and grace, while its thorns remind us of the need for boundaries and protection. Throughout history, the rose has been associated with goddesses and divine figures like Isis, Hathor, Mother Mary, as well as Mary Magdalene, priestesses who embody wisdom, strength, and compassion. This path draws from these various traditions, including ancient Egyptian and Celtic lore.  The path centres around practices like prayer, meditation, and embodiment of feminine wisdom, seen as a way to connect with the sacred feminine to find healing and initiate one's transformation. 
 
Rose Quartz brings the Light!  The crystal of unconditional love and infinite peace said to purify the heart at all levels and is believed to bring deep inner healing and self-love which then in turn, draws loving relationships toward you.  For this necklace I have used approx. 50% Rose Quartz crystal and approx. 50% Cherry Blossom Jasper crystal, who's spiritual meaning revolves around love, compassion, and emotional healing.  Cherry Blossom Jasper symbolizes emotional healing, balance and personal growth, associated with nurturing energy, promoting inner peace and transformation.      
                                          
I have included two Rose focal beads in Rose Quartz for interest, a couple of silver tone Rose beads for contrast and a few Swarovski crystal elements to add a certain vitality.   Adding silver tone to the design adds another dimension to the piece.  This colour symbolizes the moon, divine feminine energy, intuition, reflection, purity, and protection, acting as a bridge between physical and spiritual realms, enhancing psychic abilities, balancing emotions, and deflecting negativity.
 
Spiritually, pink represents unconditional love, compassion, kindness, and inner peace. It is associated with the Heart Chakra which also acts as a bridge between physical and spiritual energy, signifying a balance between the material and spiritual worlds. Pink also symbolizes friendship, harmony, and self-love. Very powerful healing!

This handmade 108 bead Affirmation Mala is not only a very desirable thing of great beauty, but also a spiritual tool.  Holding crystals or placing them on your body is thought to promote physical, emotional and spiritual healing. Crystals supposedly do this by positively interacting with your body's energy field, or chakras, channelizing your energy levels, thereby, focus on healing your body from the inside.  Stones and especially Crystals, bring a soothing vibration which calms the brain and nervous system and aligns the physical body with the etheric, maintaining optimum health.  Hold the necklace during prayer, meditation or in contemplation to connect with these deep, hidden aspects of the self.
