The rose has long been revered as a symbol of the sacred feminine. The “Way of the Rose", in connection with Mary Magdalene, refers to a spiritual path emphasizing the divine feminine, particularly through the symbolism of the rose and its association with Mary Magdalene. The delicate petals, vibrant colours, and sweet fragrance of the Rose reflect its beauty, love, and grace, while its thorns remind us of the need for boundaries and protection. Throughout history, the rose has been associated with goddesses and divine figures like Isis, Hathor, Mother Mary, as well as Mary Magdalene, priestesses who embody wisdom, strength, and compassion. This path draws from these various traditions, including ancient Egyptian and Celtic lore. The path centres around practices like prayer, meditation, and the embodiment of feminine wisdom, seen as a way to connect with the sacred feminine to find healing and initiate one's transformation. 

Rose Quartz brings the Light! For this bespoke 108 Bead Mala I have chosen to use almost 100% Rose Quartz, with the addition of several very delicate pink glass pearls to coordinate with the very delicate rose quartz pink within the main body the Mala, creating a certain dynamic yet ethereal energy.  I have used a beautiful hand craved Rose motif in Rose Quartz, as the main focal point of this piece, as well as two smaller hand carved roses, also in rose quartz, which add to its uniqueness. The whole piece is interspersed with tiny pale pink glass pearls and candy pink glass seed beads; I have also added a few Swarovski crystals in Rose pink to add that something a little special to the design.  The pendant is on a Gold Plate bail.  It’s so special, simple yet complex. 
Rose Quartz, the crystal of unconditional love and infinite peace said to purify the heart at all levels and is believed to bring deep inner healing and self-love which in turn, draws loving relationships toward you. The pink rose holds a spiritual meaning centred on unconditional love, gentleness, grace, and divine admiration. It represents a softer form of love than the passionate red rose, often symbolizing the opening of the heart chakra, spiritual healing, joy, and gratitude. The colour pink also represents unconditional love, compassion, kindness, and inner peace and again is associated with the Heart Chakra which acts as a bridge between physical and spiritual energy, signifying a balance between the material and spiritual worlds. Pink also symbolizes friendship, harmony, and self-love. A gentle yet powerful healing! Pink pearls also symbolise love, but enhance this theme further to nurturing feminine energy, representing gentle, affectionate, and caring emotions. Pink pearls are associated with good health, success, and prosperity, often viewed as symbols of wisdom, calm, and emotional balance. Their soft, warm glow is linked to kindness, inner beauty, and joy.  This is indeed a very special item.

This handmade 108 bead Affirmation Mala is not only a very desirable thing of great beauty, but also spiritual tool. Holding crystals or placing them on your body is thought to promote physical, emotional and spiritual healing. Crystals supposedly do this by positively interacting with your body's energy field, or chakras, channelizing your energy levels, thereby, focus on healing your body from the inside. Stones and especially Crystals, bring a soothing vibration which calms the brain and nervous system and aligns the physical body with the etheric, maintaining optimum health. Hold the necklace during prayer, meditation or in contemplation to connect with these deep, hidden aspects of the self. 
Please note, each necklace is unique and rose quartz is a natural product therefore please allow for variations in colour and markings, as shown in the pictures. The necklace is 38" total length (96cms), total pendant element is 40mmx30mm Weight: 75grms.
