The White Rose - Mary Magdalene - The Way of the Rose
The Rosary is an ancient devotional item, originally made as flower garlands, representing a connection between the spiritual and the earthly, serving as a tool for mindfulness and spiritual balance. Rosaries have been made out of seeds, wood and stones, today we use beads. Spirit of Knockmany Rosaries are made following a traditional design with my unique interpretation. Crafted to embody deep spirituality and to reflect sacredness, each element I choose, from colours, materials, natural crystals and symbolic charms, are chosen to create a divine atmosphere prompting you to use them often.
In mystical and esoteric traditions, Mary Magdalene is strongly associated with the white rose, which symbolizes the divine sacred feminine, purity, and the "way of the rose" lineage. She is often depicted as a holder of ancient wisdom, with the rose representing her connection to Venusian, non-dual teachings and the "rose priestess" lineage of the Divine Feminine. This bespoke piece symbolizes purity, transformation, intuition, and the Divine Feminine, it carries a loving, calming energy.
This Rosary is almost 100% composed of Opalite, with a few very pale Blue Hemimorphite beads added for their very special properties. Opalite it is a wonderfully translucent “stone” with an ethereal vibe. For the main focal point, I have included a beautiful hand carved Opalite Rose motif. Opalite is not technically a crystal, nevertheless, in metaphysical and spiritual practices, despite being a man-made glass, its pearlescent, translucent appearance is believed to mirror the soft glow of the moon. It is said to help calm emotions, reduce stress, and aid in emotional renewal, echoing the soothing energy often attributed to the moon and similar to the moon, opalite is believed to enhance intuition, clairvoyance, and feminine energy. While Blue Hemimorphite is primarily known as a powerful stone of emotional healing, empathy, and clear communication, its energy promotes joy, self-expression, and spiritual growth, often assisting in reducing anxiety and releasing old emotional traumas.
I have added touches of silver tone metal, primarily to augment lunar energy, strengthen intuition and, support feminine power. As a "mirror to the soul," it is used to enhance emotional intelligence, and is commonly associated with calm reflection and spiritual balance.
The rose has long been revered as an emblem of the sacred feminine, and Mary Magdalene in particular, representing purity, initiation, remembrance and, in our age, the rising of Divine Feminine wisdom. The rose, especially the white rose, signifies innocence, purity, and love, and the path back to one's true, creative essence, a concept central to modern spiritual practices, while embodying ancient, sacred feminine wisdom and Gnosis (direct spiritual knowing). My 'Divine Feminine Rosaries' are specialized prayer beads designed to honour feminine divinity, archetypes, and goddesses, blending spiritual devotion with, for instance crystals, coloured glass metal and/or other symbolic elements. They function as tools for connection, prayer, meditation, contemplation and intention setting.
Please note that I have not made them to be worn as a necklace, but rather to be held. I will occasionally make a longer version, therefore do check the measurements in the description before ordering. Included with the Rosary beads is a pouch for safe keeping and a printout of my thoughts and feelings on the piece, the elements chosen etc. However, do remember, this is my interpretation
