For this 108 Bead Affirmation Mala I was particularly drawn to represent the combination of Red and Gold, as they appear in Buddhist art and architecture to convey deeper spiritual meanings. In rituals within Buddhism, red and gold hold distinct symbolic connotations. Red often represents power, protection, compassion, life force and passion, while gold signifies perfection, enlightenment, wisdom, wealth and the Sun.  This colour combination is frequently used in Buddhist art, clothing, and decorations to convey these specific meanings. The Red  also signifies energy, strength, and courage. It's associated with the root chakra: grounding, survival instincts, and physical vitality.  While the Gold represents high qualities such as knowledge and wisdom, enlightenment, purity, and joy.  These two colours, Red and Gold in conjunction, produce such a rich blend. When married together they create a feeling of luxury. Very high vibe.

For this design I have used mainly Red Glass beads in three variations. I have used large rectangle gold lined focal beads and Antique brass focal beads to lift the necklace into something special, all interspersed with tiny shiny gold metal disks to add vitality and interest to the piece.   I have finished the design with a very special Antique Brass Buddha head guru bead and a lovely deep red tassel.  Just divine.  When you have one of my "Affirmation Malas" in your possession, you have A wonderful bespoke item, never to be repeated, something with a unique beauty and energy signature.  Handmade with intention by Jacqueline   Enjoy!  A lovely, unusual gift for oneself or another. 
Each Necklace comes in its own presentation box, with a printout of my interpretation for this particular piece, along with information on your Affirmation Beads, and how to use them included.  Not only a spiritual tool; but also, a very desirable thing of great beauty.  This mala is 86cms (34”) total length with a further pendent length of 11.5cms (4.5”) and weighs  80g.
Each necklace comprises 108 beads, following the train of thought that it takes 108 repetitions to change a sub-conscious programme within the mind.  My Affirmation Beads are intended as a spiritual tool to help you re-programme negative, self-limiting beliefs, and negative self-talk.  Moreover, each necklace also carries the powerful healing vibrational information of colour, and as such, comes with its own meaning, message, and purpose.
