The White Rose – 108 bead - Mary Magdalene Mala
The rose has long been revered as an emblem of the sacred feminine, embodying ancient, sacred feminine wisdom and Gnosis (direct spiritual knowing).  The "Way of the Rose," represents priestess lineages, linked in spiritual traditions of the Divine Feminine; sacred love, mystery and the "Rose Lineage" of priestesses, often associated with ancient temple traditions (like Isis) and the idea of spiritual awakening or resurrection ("rose" from the dead).  The White Rose is a symbol of the sacred feminine and Mary Magdalene in particular, representing purity, initiation, and the rising of feminine wisdom. The white rose signifying purity and remembrance, contrasts with the red rose (passion/blood), and is central to modern movements reclaiming Magdalene's role as a powerful spiritual figure, embodying wisdom, healing, and sacred sexuality beyond traditional dogma. Magdalene's divine feminine teachings in France, point to spiritual awakening, often linked to sacred sexuality, womb wisdom, and resurrection (rising from ignorance). The rose, especially the white rose, signifies innocence, purity, and love, and the path back to one's true, creative essence, a concept central to modern spiritual practices honouring her legacy. 
 
Spiritually Mother of Pearl symbolizes purity, transformation, intuition, and the divine feminine, its calming, moon-like glow connects it to emotional balance, protection, and nurturing inner wisdom and spiritual growth, fostering clarity and harmony. White primarily symbolizes purity, innocence, and peace, often representing a connection to the divine, spiritual renewal, and new beginnings. It is frequently used in religious contexts to denote holiness and wisdom.  In various spiritual systems, including Eastern philosophies and chakra work, white is also associated with enlightenment and the highest form of consciousness, particularly the Crown Chakra. 
 
In this bespoke piece I have used 100% mother of pearl for its lovely warm white light. I have added two beautiful rich cream pear-shaped glass beads and two Swarovski butterfly beads to added interest and vitality to the piece.  I have finished the necklace with a beautiful hand craved rose in Mother of Pearl.  It is just stunning.
