I have called this ‘The Violet Flame Rosary’ as it feels very connected to the wonderful healing energy of The Violet Flame, which is believed to transmute negative energy, heal past trauma, and elevate personal consciousness, bringing positive change into one’s life.
The Rosary is an ancient devotional item, originally made as flower garlands, representing a connection between the spiritual and the earth, serving as a tool for mindfulness and spiritual balance. Rosaries have been made from seeds, wood and stones, today we use beads. Spirit of Knockmany Rosaries are made following a traditional design with my unique interpretation. Crafted to embody deep spirituality and to reflect sacredness, each element I choose, from colours, materials, natural crystals and symbolic charms, are chosen to create a divine atmosphere prompting you to use them often. Please note that I have not made them to be worn as a necklace, but rather to be held during prayer, meditation and contemplation.
The main body of this Rosary is made using unusual, frosted Kunzite crystal beads, with one large focal bead in Amethyst, interspersed with beautiful gold lined glass beads to add extra vitality to the piece and finished with a lovely deep purple tassel.
Kunzite is spiritually known as the "Stone of Emotion" and Divine Love. It is celebrated for opening the heart chakra, encouraging unconditional love, releasing past traumas, and balancing the mind and emotions to bring deep inner peace and self-worth. The Amethyst echoes these qualities of peace and calmness and is also known for its ability to balance one's energy, moreover, it is said to promote intuition and creativity.
I love to include the frequency of gold into a design whenever I can, as this holds profound spiritual significance as a symbol of divinity, immortality, and enlightenment, often representing the sun’s life-giving energy. It signifies wisdom, purity, sacredness, and high consciousness, frequently used in religious artefacts to connect the human soul to the divine.
This Pale Violet hue belongs to the purple spectrum, and shares its many meaning associations: Creativity, Emotionality, Enlightenment, Imagination, Inspiration, Mystery, Rarity, Royalty, Wisdom and Spirituality, truly wonderful.
