I have been making items of Jewellery since 1996, after training with Aura Soma in Lincolnshire in England. According to its own statement, “Aura Soma, combines healing energy from colours, gemstones and plants, harnessing the vibrational power of Mother Nature”. Although I attended two training courses, and studied their philosophy in depth, I am not a qualified Aura-Soma therapist. However, I was imbued with an inspired experience of colour, which had a deep and positive affect on my psyche, this remained and has proven really inspirational for me in the Jewellery making process.
Specifically, the Aura-Soma application is based on the idea that the soul consciously chooses a colour, which the person to be treated then selects spontaneously.
For sure I was opened to the world of colour, and colour therapy, which I feel is reflected in all my pieces, I am forever grateful for Aura-Soma’s influence in my journey.

Colour can have such a positive effect on our lives and in so many ways: our clothes, our homes, our work environments, meditation spaces etc.,
Jewellery is a great way to introduce colour frequencies and vibration into one’s personal sphere, to enhance your levels of self-love, joy and enjoyment, it’s a great way to give something lovely and meaningful and joyful to yourself or another.
My process with colour...

Building on my Aura-Soma experience, I seek understanding of the powerful healing vibrational information of colour; researching the meanings of the frequencies of the colours and particular crystals, and perhaps other information as it relates to a particular sign of the Zodiac, or ancient mythology.

I follow inspiration with each creation...
...selecting for colour, light, balance and beauty.

Once I have created the piece, I may write a brief summary of my intuitive reflections about the colours as they have manifested in the piece of jewellery, however please note: This is my interpretation of a particular item, so please do remember:
