Metal
Inorganic. Especially Copper; acts as a receptive antenna thanks to its conductive capacity.
The mix of metal in your Orgonite can include aluminium, iron, copper and copper alloys including brass. This attracts the positively charged electro-magnetic waves that surround us from modern devices and directs them, via a copper coil, to the Quartz in the center.
Resin
Organic. Polyester; due to it's semi-conductive capacity, resin is able to store positive charge and accumulate static electricity captured by the metal. Polyester resin shrinks more than epoxy resin as it dries, putting the Quartz crystal under mechanical pressure, activating the piezoelectric effect. As the quartz pushes energy through the Orgonite, the resin acts as a filter for the more beneficial energy harmonized by the crystal.
Quartz
Crystal mineral. Silicon and Oxygen in a dual tetrahedral structure; due to this atomic structure, Quartz, when stressed by the resin, produces a slight electrical potential that starts to move a current of charged energy through the Orgonite. This 'activates' your Orgonite, making it a more effective tool for harmonizing the energy in your space.
Colour
Colour is the secret ingredient in all our Orgonites. Combining Jacqueline's studies in AuraSoma, Reiki and photography, with the beautiful light we get here in the Irish countryside, colour is so essential to the vibratory properties of these beautiful creations that we have another blog post devoted especially to it.
